I am not a wrestling fan. I haven’t watched wrestling since the 1990’s. I have not been inclined to keep up with it. So when the opportunity came along when a friend asked me to go to the biggest wrestling match of the year, Wrestlemania©, I was honestly expecting myself to decline.
Instead I said yes.
And what do you know I had fun.

This a teaser for my upcoming blog post “Stealing Joy”. I am out with friends and my family ” running” a 5k through the Fort Worth zoo. It has been a rough 2 weeks but I am doing my best to find joy and happiness. This is the picture for today.

That great day is upon us. The day that makes the internet look like a battleground of jokes. While it is a great day to take a load off and have some fun, I would like to offer a brief PSA.
There are those out there with anxiety who do not handle this day well. Please use caution when including them in your joking today. Those friends out there who care need to know that it can be very hard to overcome the shock of a surprise. I know that some of those close to me avoid all internet and social contact today just to make sure they don’t get wrapped up in the madness.
Now, please don’t let this stop you from having your fun. Go, enjoy the day and the happy pranking of coworkers and friends!
Just be mindful of those who could take it too hard.

I have noticed a new milestone for me. I have hit that magical number of 200 posts. I want to thank anyone who got me this far. I never thought I would have hit this mark.
I hope I have help some poeple the way this blog has helped me. I started this with the mission of self help and a way of tracking it. It has evolved to more but that still remains the heart of it all.
This blog is for me.
But, it seems, it is now for you as well.
I have been read in 26 countries now. This boggles my mind. I want to thank everyone who has opened (maybe even by accident) this blog. I have been searched on the Googles 85 times. Over 4000 views from when I start this a little over a year ago. Over 2000 different visitors.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
That is a lot of people hugging ponies!
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. It was a very long weekend. I got to see friends and family. We had an incredible time with hardships and laughs. I thank every one for their service in volunteering and hoped all the attendees had great time.
A few quick notes. I loved the panel that I got to help lead. I feel the group had fun and we loved putting on the show. If you attended the panel make sure to drop a line. I will have more info on it all later.
I wanted to share that during the convention I experienced a personal family emergency. We are very shaken up and ask for your thoughts and prayers. I will update when I can. I ask for patience in this matter and thank you for understanding.

I find myself in the mood to write. I have written a few things tonight, some for work, some for this blog. I find I have to capitalize on the times I am feeling creative. I don’t like missing out on things to write.
Some people have asked where I come up with ideas to write about or how it comes to me. I honestly just write what I think. I have managed to get my typing skills up to almost my thoughts and it has helped a ton.
All those typing exercises worked. Thanks Mom!!!
I have a few irons in the fire, still, and that is a good thing. As long as I have things to write about on the horizon, I feel as if I have a purpose. Cool things are coming.
I want to say thank you to you my dedicated reader, whoever wherever you may be. Know that I think of you when I type these words. Each and every one of you. You guys and gals mean the world to me.
You give me purpose to write.
